Found: The taste of East Asia in Syracuse
By Wei Pan
New Fuji Buffet on Erie Boulevard East reminds some diners of home. A family from Fujian Province in China opened the restaurant in 1994, and it is now run by the second generation.
Nowadays, people not only from the local area, but also from farther places, such as New York City, come for its Chinese and Japanese style food every day, such as fried rice, chow mein, sushi, soups, as well as dishes of seafood, chicken, pork and beef.
For customers from East Asia, New Fuji is where they can find the taste of their hometown in the United States.
